Dr. Jeannine Sandstrom

PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND:

Jeannine’s doctorate in Human Resource Management launched a career dedicated to practical and research-based developmental leadership approaches. She led three national management development consultancies prior to founding Coachworks, a firm that focuses on strategic leadership, leader-team development and the education of professional coaches and consultants. At the forefront of the executive coaching profession, her articles have been featured in The Wall Street Journal and Fortune Magazine, with appearances as an expert presenter on PBS programs. A Master Certified Coach, teacher and mentor to generations of professional coaches, she has been generously and generatively active on numerous national professional and industry organizations - as an alumna of Leadership Dallas, past president of the D/FW chapter of the International Association of Career Management Professionals and of the North Texas chapter of the International Coach Federation. She has created breakthroughs for executive leaders at – among many others – The Prudential, Chase Bank, NASA, Oracle, John Deere and Company, CHRISTUS Health Systems and American Heart Association.

COACHING EXPERIENCE AND AREAS OF EXPERTISE:

Jeannine doesn’t like to call herself just an Executive Leader Coach. Yes, she is that, but she is so much more. She prefers the title “Executive Performance Specialist” because performance is the bottom line for any C-Level executive, and that is her specialty. Sandstrom’s education, corporate background, coaching and life experiences in all industries and across the globe uniquely qualify her as the perfect match-up coach to C-Level leaders.

A leader in the executive coaching industry, she was instrumental in its development as a profession. Jeannine has been where executives are, shouldering profit and loss responsibility, leading large teams and has held the executive strategic vision in her own hands. She is a proponent of life-long learning and believes in constant training and conditioning to be prepared for the endurance sport of business.

FIRST AFFILIATION WITH COACH U:

Jeannine was affiliated with Coach U from its beginnings and received her basic coach training from Coach U. She helped Coach U establish Corporate Coach U (CCU) and was on the founding Board of CCU. For several years, she was on the faculty of CCU leading The Coaching Clinic, Personal Coaching Styles Inventory (PCSI) and foundation courses globally.
