The self-paced Core Essentials essentially has rolling admissions. In most cases, you can start taking courses the first week of the month following the month you register. Once you enroll, your first course will be a one-hour, self-guided online “CE101 CE Orientation” session.
After completing this session, you may enter the student-only area, review the complete schedule (courses are scheduled several months in advance) and enroll in courses.
The course schedule changes each month to accommodate preferred course days (some people only enroll in courses on specific days of the week, while others have greater availability), times of the day (some people prefer to schedule before or after work, while others again have greater flexibility), and global time zones (we have students in over 50 countries).
Core Essentials participants have up to 18 months to complete all graduation requirements; some finish within 12 months depending on how available and motivated they are. Participants generally take 2-4 courses per month (not the same number each month). Students also must accumulate at least 20 hours of coaching experience to graduate from this program.
That’s up to you. Some focus on getting their ICF Associate Certified Coach credential now that they have met the formal coach-specific training hours. Some continue onto our Professional Essentials (Phase 2 of our Professional Coach Training Program) to complete our full Accredited Coaching Training Program with the ICF. Others have what they need to starting coaching in their professional roles and/or to launch their own practice. And, others find that when they apply the skills and philosophies to their personal lives, they realize more satisfaction, meaning and contentment.
All the program materials are included in the price of your registration. They are all offered virtually and offer over 1000 pages of coaching tools, skills and resources.
Please ensure that you read the CE Enrollment Policy prior to enrolling. By enrolling you acknowledge you have read these policies and procedures.
